Over the past two years, I’ve been working on renovating a house in Austin. This dream began when I helped my uncle build his house as a kid, and it gained momentum after the restlessness of COVID-19. I bought the house three years ago and started hatching a plan, refining it over the years with the help of some great engineers.

In March 2023, I finally began the renovation. Over the next 16 months, with the invaluable help of friends and family, we tackled everything: concrete work, siding, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and so much demo. It’s been both exhausting and satisfying to breathe new life into a house that would have otherwise been knocked down. Below are some images of the work along the way.
