Hi, I'm Sam, a UX and Product Leader based in Austin with over 10 years of experience in design and product strategy. I love finding simple, elegant solutions to complex problems.
In my last major role as Design Director at the construction finance startup Rabbet, I focused on helping construction firms manage their project finances and documentation, ensuring they had a clear picture of their project’s status.
Over the last two years, I've been immersed in contract work, designing board games, and renovating my home. I’ve navigated city codes, permits, sudden leaks, and lifting heavy beams in 100-degree heat. These projects were fantastic for honing my strategic planning and problem-solving skills. In my downtime, I enjoy painting, cooking, and camping.
Now, I’m excited to focus my problem-solving abilities and passion for design toward new, challenging opportunities.
